If you’re injured while riding a motorcycle in the state of Florida, it’s likely that your insurance contract will require you to cooperate the investigation of the claim. That can include making a statement to your own insurance company. However, you are allowed and should have an attorney with you when that happens. You have no obligation to do that to the opposing insurance company, so if they contact you and ask you for a statement, you should refuse and contact a lawyer.
