Good character cannot be purchased. It cannot be inherited. A reputation for good character has to be earned – by making good choices and putting in effort. This is why the law firm is proud to honor an Okeechobee High School student each month for their outstanding character. Each winner has been nominated by their teachers for being of excellent character, and the winner is chosen by a vote of his or her peers. That student is awarded a $100 gift card to a local restaurant, and at the end of the year, each Senior who was chosen will have the opportunity a compete for a $2,000 scholarship. We are very excited for this opportunity to honor Okeechobee seniors and we are proud to be a part of the Okeechobee community.

These students were nominated by both faculty and their peers for being of exemplary character- they have exhibited compassion, self-discipline, and responsibility.
