The staff of Philip DeBerard, Injury Attorney joined the community once again for the annual Okeechobee Family Health and Safety Expo in January. The promise of live demonstrations, games, face painting, and of course the fan favorite Touch-A-Truck brought out thousands to the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center.
Those in attendance got to meet with organizations and businesses within the community who provide health and safety services to residents. Booths were set up with information and giveaways. The DeBerard booth included some freebies as well as entertaining giveaways. Those who stopped by had a chance to spin the wheel of prizes and receive tote bags, lunch bags, koozies, cups, and more.
Attendees were also able to enter a bicycle raffle when stopping at the booth. Philip DeBerard, Injury Attorney donated 8 bicycles, sized for riders ages 2 through 16, along with helmets. The bikes were raffled off and 8 lucky winners were called to claim their prize. Mr. DeBerard chose bicycles to give away due to his belief in the importance of teaching our youth of bicycle safety to hopefully prevent bicycle accidents.
Philip DeBerard, Injury Attorney has been serving the Okeechobee community for 40 years and is proud to be able to give back to the local community by supporting these events. Some youngsters stopped by, commenting to Mr. DeBerard, “I see you on the billboards!” Past and current clients also stopped to say hello and thank you to the staff attending.
The Okeechobee Family Health and Safety Expo is something Philip and his team look forward to each year and are excited to see what fun things are in store for next years!
